New Business Development Manager
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Building – Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline through inbound, outbound cold calling, networking and targeted outreach across various sectors.
- Sales Strategy & Client Engagement – Engage with C-Suite and senior level decision makers to present solutions that align with their business objectives, drive efficiency and meet compliance needs.
- Proposal Development & Presentation – Write and deliver compelling, client specific proposals that highlight how services can support their business objectives.
- Sales Efficiency – Identify and implement strategies to increase and convert sales, drive higher margins and enhance overall effectiveness within the sales process.
- Commercial Acumen – Actively seeking networking opportunities and connections to expand our influence and presence as the ‘Go To’ outsourced HR services provider within East Anglia with client group that matches our ideal client profiles.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team – Work closely with the marketing team to align on outreach campaigns, utilising email and social platforms for targeted engagement. Follow up on campaigns and events, converting leads from campaigns and events.
- Client Centric Relationship Building – Be a trusted ambassador for MAD-HR in the business network and build and nurture relationships with prospects, clients and strategic partners, in line with our ‘PARIS‘ values – Passionate, Accountability, Results, Integrity, Simplicity.
- Market Research and Collaboration – Keep updated on HR trends and compliance changes and coordinate with internal teams on industry developments to use as discussion points with potential clients.
- Monthly Reporting – Provide regular reports on sales pipeline, lead generation activity, deal values, and status updates for presentation to senior leadership.
Person Specification
- Sales Experience: 3+ years in and outbound, lead generation and managing a sales pipeline ideally within an HR or professional services role. Demonstrated ability to be tenacious, resilient and able to meet deadlines.
- Impact and Influence: Have excellent influencing and closing skills. Thrives on selling a solution you are passionate about in person, online and over the phone. Able to effectively problem solve and overcome objections.
- Strategic Sales and Proposal Development: Strong background in solution-based selling, proposal writing and presenting tailored solutions, including excellent written skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Client engagement Across Sectors: Demonstrated ability adapt to multiple industries tailoring approaches to meet diverse range of client needs.
- Networking and Brand Representation: Proven experience in building a professional network, representing a brand and actively engaging with prospective clients.
- High Level Relationship Management: Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with C-Suite and senior leaders, with a focus on understanding and aligning with their goals and demonstrate where you can add real value to their business.
- Technical Proficiency: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office computer packages, CRM (HubSpot) and proposal-writing software.
- Resources: Must have a full clean driving licence and a reliable car that can be used for business purposes.
