Job Retention Scheme – FAQ’s as at 16.04.20
As Government advice is changing weekly regarding the job retention scheme and furloughed staff. We have been inundated with questions regarding the process of furloughing staff and in response to this, we have been providing free guides as well as supporting the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce with a Furloughing Webinar on 15th April 2020.
As expected, we were overwhelmed with specific questions about the Scheme from Chamber members throughout Suffolk. In this guide we answer questions that we have been asked directly by Chamber members on the webinar, business owners and HR teams who are trying to find solutions to the more intricate and complicated scenarios they are facing due to the Coronavirus pandemic. In the spirit of ‘making a difference’ we want to share with you our expert opinion and advice on how best to proceed.
The HMRC has already released a 20-minute video to assist employers in making a claim.
If you have any immediate or urgent issues get in touch with us to discuss your options in these tough and uncertain times.
